St. Therese offers vibrant worship, faith, ministry, and life resources and events. We also host many fun and rewarding activities for adults and youth. Register For Our
Centennial Jubilee

Join us at the STLF 100th anniversary Centennial Jubilee Celebration at the KC Marriott Downtown (Nov. 28). Tickets are available now for $100 per person, or you can pay in installments. Space is limited, and no tickets will be available at the event. The Marriott also offers a limited number of hotel rooms at a special rate. STLF Book Club
Meets April 24

The Saint Therese Little Flower Book Club will meet on April 24 (from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.) in the office building's living room. They will discuss Chapters 7 and 8 from Father Ed Hays' book, The Gospel of Gabriel.

Mother Teresa Movie

The Mother Teresa No Greater Love movie will be presented by the Knights of Columbus Council 527 on April 26 (6 p.m.) in Christ the King Parish Hall (8500 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO). Admission is free.

Filmed on five continents and featuring unprecedented access to institutional archives and the apostolates of the Missionaries of Charity, this film reveals not just who Mother Teresa was but how her singular vision to serve Christ in the poor continues to be realized through the Missionaries of Charity today. First Holy Communion

At the April 27th Mass, we will proudly celebrate the First Holy Communion of Chloe Dakotas, Helen Karnes, Gemma Robinson, and Jonah Robinson. A reception will follow Mass. We wish them a day filled with love and joy! May the grace of this sacrament strengthen their faith and bring them closer to God each day. 

Marillac Center
Men's Retreat

From May 2nd to 4th, all STLF men can experience peace and reflection in this beautiful setting. Each man will have his own room with a bathroom and shower. All meals are included. The Marillac Center estimates that its out-of-pocket costs are around $200 per person, but it will accept whatever you can afford. They commit to never allowing the expense to stand in the way of someone making a retreat. View the flyer for complete details.

STLF Sunday School

We invite all children to attend Sunday School at St. Therese each Sunday at 9 a.m. Sunday School is a fantastic opportunity to grow in faith, deepen your understanding of God’s Word, and connect with our loving church community. Questions? Please contact the Parish Office at (816) 444-5406.

Mother's Corner

Please join us at 8:30 a.m. before Sunday's Mass to pray the Rosary for our parish, your intentions, and your neighborhood. May our Blessed Mother’s Rosary be part of your daily prayer routine.

2025 Lyke Conference

Join us at the 2025 Archbishop Lyke Conference (June 17 to 20 in Tampa, Florida). This is the nation’s premier celebration of the Black Catholic faith. Attendees will be trained in African American traditions and their legacy.

The event will take place at the Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore. The reservation deadline is May 17. Space is limited. Visit the website to register and book your hotel room.

Senior Center Lunch

The St. Therese Little Flower Parish Senior Center is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch is offered daily from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is a suggested $3 donation for those over 60 years old and $5.75 for all others.
