Giving shows our love for God and our neighbors and makes us good life stewards. Catholic stewardship is a Christian way of life that recognizes that everything we have and are is a gift from God. God reveals His perfect and infinite love for us most visibly in His Son, Jesus Christ. A steward makes God's love visible by imitating Jesus.
Tithing is the practice, established by God in the Old Testament, of returning 10% of your blessings to God. We show how much we love and trust Him by placing God first – above all other financial obligations. “Everything we have, everything we are, is by God’s initiative, grace, providence.”
Our Catholic faith and community are great treasures that bring hope and joy to families who worship, learn, lead, and serve within our community. Thank you very much for bestowing us with your love and support each year. Your continued generosity paves the way for the future by providing a solid foundation, hope, and joy to all who follow us. It also brings blessings to many we have not yet met.
"Everyone should give whatever they have decided in their heart. They shouldn’t give with
hesitation or because of pressure. God loves a cheerful giver." - 2 Corinthians 9:7
