Our Mission

Saint Therese Little Flower Parish is a diverse faith community of love
and acceptance, serving God and our dear neighbor
through vibrant liturgies and social outreach.

Join Us As We Celebrate

Our 100th Anniversary!

St. Therese Little Flower Parish held its first Mass on Thanksgiving Day in 1925. On November 27, 2025 (at 10 a.m.), we will commemorate St. Therese's 100th anniversary during a special Mass led by Father Don Farnan. Everyone is welcome to attend!

On November 28th, our Centennial Jubilee Celebration will be at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. This will be a memorable evening celebrating 100 years of fabulous history and preparation for the next century, as our diverse faith community of love continues to serve God and our dear neighbors through vibrant liturgies and social outreach. Donate to the Jubilee.

Registration for the Centennial Jubilee is now closed, but you can still show your support. Your gift (in any amount) is greatly appreciated and helps ensure that St. Therese Little Flower continues to serve future generations. Donate now. Question? Advent begins on Sunday, November 30.

Advent Begins Nov. 30

The Season of Advent begins on Sunday, November 30, and continues through Wednesday, December 24. Advent is the season of waiting, preparation, and penance. It awakens us not only for the birth of Christ, but it is also the beginning of a new liturgical year.

On the first Sunday of Advent, we’ll transition from cycle C to cycle A. Cycle A focuses on the Gospel of Luke, which we will hear during each Mass this Advent season.

A family of faith-filled
parishioners with love & support

Welcome to St Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, a small urban core Roman Catholic Church with a big heart in the Blue Hills neighborhood of mid-town Kansas City, Missouri. We are a very faith-filled, diverse, spirit-led community that is small enough to be a very intimate and close-knit family yet large enough to serve our brothers and sisters in the community who are less fortunate than we are.

We are united at the Table of the Lord in the Eucharist. We enjoy being a family and the love and support that we can share. We enjoy fellowship and fun with our church family and are driven by a sense of justice and peace in our neighborhood and beyond.

Watch Mass online

Our diverse community joins as one spiritual family to praise the Lord each Sunday at 9 a.m. If you can't join us in person, please join us virtually by viewing our Catholic Mass livestream on our parish Facebook page.
