In partnership with Rockhurst University, we invite you to join Father Don Farnan for weekly Mass each Thursday at 12:15 p.m. (beginning June 11) at the Alvin Brooks Center Mabee Chapel (5401 Troost Avenue, Kansas City). All are welcome! Learn more about the Alvin Brooks Center.
This weekly gathering connects people from across parishes and the city to share in the Eucharist, strengthen community, and support ministries serving our urban-core neighbors. It's a simple but meaningful way to deepen faith and fellowship in the heart of Kansas City.
Make this part of your summer rhythm. Come as you are, bring a friend, and take a mid-day pause for prayer and community. Stay for conversation or step in for a quiet moment of prayer. Our Kickoff Gathering on June 11 will offer Mass followed by a light lunch. Guests are welcome to stay and socialize or take lunch to go.
Welcome to St Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, a small urban core Roman Catholic Church with a big heart in the Blue Hills neighborhood of mid-town Kansas City, Missouri. We are a very faith-filled, diverse, spirit-led community that is small enough to be a very intimate and close-knit family yet large enough to serve our brothers and sisters in the community who are less fortunate than we are.
We are united at the Table of the Lord in the Eucharist. We enjoy being a family and the love and support that we can share. We enjoy fellowship and fun with our church family and are driven by a sense of justice and peace in our neighborhood and beyond.
