Lenten Fish Fries

Everyone is invited to our Friday Fish Fry dinners during Lent. Dine-in or carryout service will be offered. Join us from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on March 6 and 13 (Presented by the Knights of Columbus), or March 20 (Benefits the Senior Center and Lyke Team). Enjoy a great meal and help support the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet at the same time. Dine on March 25 (11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.) at Jasper's Restaurant (1201 W. 103rd St., Kansas City, MO). 2025 First Holy Communion at St. Therese Little Flower Parish in Kansas City, Missouri

First Holy Communion

Classes for first Holy Communion have begun in the Church Hall during the 9 a.m. Mass. Classes are for children who are in second grade or older.

Children must attend every week or make other arrangements to ensure they are ready for First Holy Communion on Sunday, April 26. Questions may be directed to Sharon Sanders at ssanders@stlfkc.org or Renae Goudeau-Bobb at rgbobbkc@gmail.com.

Senior Center Events

The St. Therese Little Flower Parish Senior Center is filled with fun, learning, and fellowship every week. The Center is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Lunch is available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (the cost is a suggested $5 donation for seniors; all others $10.00). Everyone is welcome!

 

Weekly activities include: Monday (Gift Card Monday and Arts and Crafts), Tuesday (Random Raffle and War Room Bible Study at 9:30 a.m.), and Wednesday(Bingo and Bid Whist Games and the Luau).Questions? Please contact us at (816) 444-3514.

Looking for a way to impact our community? Join the St. Therese One City Cafe volunteers on the fourth Tuesday of every month to help us serve dinner to our neighbors in need.  We meet at 3:15 pm and we are done by 6:15 pm. For more information, please contact John Barry at jbarry@kc.rr.com
